  1. Press Windows key + S to open Search
  2. Now, type Troubleshooter in the search bar.
  3. Press Enter.
  4. Select Troubleshoot to proceed.
  5. Click Playing Audio Troubleshooter.
  6. Click Run to troubleshoot the problem.
  7. Now, the process will begin for scanning the audio issues.
System File Checker
In any condition, SFC scan is an option that one should try to eliminate the issue because SFC finds the damaged file in the computer and repair along with the scan.
  1. To run SFC scan, open Start menu, and type cmd.
  2. Now, click cmd from the search results.
  3. It will open Command Prompt.
  4. Now type the sfc/scannnow command in the command prompt.
  5. Now, press Enter to begin the process.
  6. It will start scanning immediately.
  7. When the scan is done, close the prompt and restart your computer.
Restart the sound controller
  1. Press Windows Key + X and click to open the Device Manager.
  2. If you are not using Windows 10, then open your Start
  3. Now click to open Control Panel.
  4. Select View By and click Small size from the right corner.
  5. Now, select Device Manager.
  6. Now, find Sound, Video and Game Controllers section.
  7. Click to open the section.
  8. Now, navigate the Device Controller.
  9. Now, select the controller and right click on it
  10. Choose Disable from the menu.
  11. Wait for a while and then right click on it again.
  12. Select Enable from the list to turn the device on.
  13. Now, restart your computer.
